| Ljungblut er et band som har utspring i Kim Ljung sitt soloprosjekt med samme navn. Første utgivelse kom i 2005 og første konsert i 2010. Ljung har siden oppstart hatt en relativt stabil gruppe med backingmusikere og han forteller før albumutgivelsen i 2016 at Ljungblut nå er mer å regne som et band enn et soloprosjekt. |

| I årevis ruget Kim Ljung på ideer som ikke passet inn i Seigmen eller Zeromancer. I 2004 gikk Kim Ljung med venner i studio for å spille inn sin solodebut. |
Ljungblut har et sparsommelig antall liveopptredener bak seg. Første opptreden var i 2010, fem år etter første utgivelse. |
